FFF - Marie's CKG Colour Challenge

It's FFF Challenge time again at TGF!

This time TGF have given us a colour challenge using three colours from SU's colour palette, Chocolate Chip, Kraft and Groovy Guava. Unfortunately due the fact that the Groovy Guava was a In-Colour from 2007/2008 I no longer have any left so I replaced it with Cameo Coral instead.

I used TGF's Dressy Ebony and coloured her using my Copic and SU markers, I then used the sentiment from my new SU 'Whimsical Words' set and layered that on some Kraft, Cameo Coral and Whisper White card stock cut using my nestabilities. The layers underneath are made from some of the same colour stock plus some SU Designer Series papers. The card is finished with some crystal diamante, chocolate ribbon and a couple of buttons.

Apart from the fact that I could not make this using the colour Groovy Guava, I am still happy with the outcome.

The Case of the Curious Card Contest

The Case of the Curious Card - Marie Rocks

RULES: Create a card or layout using ANY TGF Stamp/s CASING Marie's layout somehow. Take all the Creative Direction you want. Just as long as we can see her layout SOMEWHERE in yours.

I used my Anya Ballerina stamp for this TGF contest, and I coloured her using my copic and SU markers. I have used some embossed paper to mount her on, which I just love as it surrounds her in roses.

The gorgeous designer paper is from Best Creations Inc and I have embellished the card with a mix of SU felt flowers, a random mix of silk flowers, SU rhinestone brads and a tiny piece of pink ribbon to finish. I am quite pleased with the way this card has turned out!

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY

wild about you

This is the card I made for my DH this Valentine's day.

I used Bree from TGF but instead of delivering mail she is on safari delivering my heart (awwww!!) she is coloured with SU markers and copics, the heart has been glittered with SU sparkle and I have added some pink diamontes. I have used my cuttlebug to add texture to the paper. The patterned stock and little monkey are from the DCWV range, the seniment is from the SU 'Wild About You' set.

My DH had to work today and left before I was awake, but I woke up to a lovely surprise that comprised of a red rose, chocolates, a mug for the 'Greatest Wife' and a a copy of the Twilight DVD, I was very, very spoilt!!

Another FFF Challenge

"VINTAGE-esque" Challenge at TGF!

We could go vintage or old and grungy, as I am not very good at vintage I went for grungy instead and choose to use my Wild West Anya stamp to make a wanted poster.

It does not show up that well on the photo but I have 'grunged-up' the papers and flowers by sponging them with my SU So Saffron and Chocolate Chip inks, I have also distressed the edges.
Anya is coloured with my SU markers and copics and I have finished with some ribbon and brass brads.

I'm not sure if she looks grungy enough but I am happy the way that my layout has worked out.

a MONSTER of a day!

Having a MONSTER of a day!

Yesterday I found the perfect paper for this little MONSTER card. The cute little digi stamp is from Squigglefly and the paper is from Sassafras. He has been coloured with my SU markers, I made up my own wordart for the sentiment in publisher (my program of choice), I think he is very adorable even if he is a one-eyed MONSTER!!

A Lil' Truck for A Little Man

Lil' Dump Truck

I made this one today for a little boys birthday, just for fun because I just LOVE this little digi Dump truck and hadn't had a chance to use it.

I used my SU markers and Sakura Glaze pens, I added some metallic silver to some of the trucks details. The paper is from craft affair (picked up on clearance at Target).

Club Anya - Wild Card Wednesday

A Colour Challenge

The challenge this week over at Club Anya was to create a card only using the colours purple and green. So I decided to use HG Snuggle as she really suits this colour choice. This is also the first time I have been game enough to use my acetate as the card base.

I used Lovely Lilac and Certainly Celery card stock and designer papers from SU. Snuggle is coloured with my matching SU markers and Copics. I have added an SU felt flower and crystal brad to her hair, the card has then been finished off with some ribbon and brads. The Easter sentiment is a digital stamp from Squigglefly
