My very first 'Kenny K' Challenge

Here it is, my very first Kenny K image made for my very first Kenny K challenge, why did it take me soooo long to find these little gems?

I have used 'Troublemaker' and isn't she just!  Looking like butter wouldn't melt in her pretty little mouth.  The card style is inspired by Kenny K's Kraft Girlz challenge - Bold and Bright.

I bought two images to start with and I am in the middle of constructing my second Kenny K card but I know there will plenty of shopping going on soon to get more!

I See Double!

Monkeying Around

This card was inspired by another great challenge at Meljens Designs; I See Double - You just have to use the SAME image twice on the one card.  I used the adorable Monkey Toes digi from Meljens for this challenge and I had my own personal challenge getting the baby monkey to look like he was sitting in his mummy's lap, but after a bit of snipping here and reattaching there I seem to have the two of them snuggling happily together.

Material Used; Monkey Toes digi from Meljens Designs, Copic Ciao markers, SU Kraft, Chocolate Chip and Gable Green card stock, DCWV Animal Crackers DP, SU Baja Breeze Grosgrain ribbon, SU sentiment stamp, buttons from my stash pile.

Happy Birthday DH!

Happy Birthday!

Today is my DH's birthday and he was woken up with our two wonderful boys beaming and ready for school (of course DH was not ready to wake up yet!)  While the young bots are at school we will both be relaxing at home after being able to co-ordinate our days off together which seems to be a very rare occurrence.

As you can see by looking at earlier card posts I had a theme going on with his birthday cards this year and this is the one from me.  I am loving the fact that I have been able to add some real hardware to my embellishment stash!

Materials Used; Pollycraft Designs Digi - Cog Girl, Copic Ciao's, SU Basic Grey, Pacific Point and some other generic green card stock, DP from Kaiser crafts Konstruct Collection,  Sakura Glaze pens, metal flower bead spacers, twine and hardware from my new hardware stash.

It is my DH's birthday this week so I have been busy making his cards while he is at work, then hiding the evidence again when he is home!  This is his card from our two boys...

This fantastic stamp and sentiment set is from Tiddly Inks, isn't he the coolest Dad you ever saw.  I even made a quick rummage with the kids in the garage for some shiny nuts and washers!

THE GREETING FARM turn's TWO!

Just TWO short years ago, Marie, founder of The Greeting Farm had a couple of 4x6 sets for sale, a brand new blog, and watched her Pink Poison become The Greeting Farm.  

Just look where she is now, a milestone trip to CHA, some amazing designers, a fantastic blog and this year the TGF shop got a revamped to make it even bigger and better, TGF is here to stay!

I am so looking forward to the celebrations this weekend,  blog hops, exclusive digi's, prizes, challenges, I just hope I have time to fit it all in considering it's already Monday morning here.

I have used my Creepy Crew Jack for this card as it will be for my nephews birthday which is coming up soon, I have tried to give the card a grungy look suitable for a teen boy!

This card was inspired by this weeks Scrappy Saturday Challenge (WMC16) over on the Wee Memories blog.  The challenge is to incorporate some chipboard into the design.  I have limited chipboard embellies in my stash but I do have a few packs of chipboard letters.  So here is my friendship easel card dedicated to my bestie.

The gorgeous little tree that I have incorporated is from Pollycraft Designs and the sentiment is from Kaiser Digital, just about everything else is on this card is from Stampin Up.

Material Used; SU Vintage Vogue stamp, Love Tree Digi from Pollycraft Designs, Copic Caio markers, SU Soft Suede, Melon Mambo and Rich Razzleberry card stocks, SU Cottage Wall DP, SU Felt Flowers, SU Certainly Celery ribbon, SU Sparkle Brads, chipboard letters and pearls from Kaiser.
