Mad As A Hatter!

In Anticipation of Tim Burton's Twisted Tale of Alice in Wonderland...

I am ubber excited about the re-release of Alice especially with Johnny Depp playing the Mad Hatter, so I did not need much of a push to get myself into gear to face the latest FFF Challenge at The Greeting Farm.

Down the Rabbit Hole.

For this challenge I used the Hatter digi but replaced his head with Hugh's instead, I just thought his hair was a little wilder and represented Depp's character a little better. I coloured both the Hatter and the Rabbit in with a mix of my SU Markers and Copics. I hunted for some clipart for the background and found the clock and little bottle, I made the circle sentiment myself with the added key hole.

The card has been finished with some Kaiser Kraft flowers, an SU Sparkle Brad, some silk ribbon from my stash and a black diamonte for the center of the clock. It's an eclectic mix but I think it represents the theme well!

Now I just need to wait for the release of the movie downunder!

FFF - Marie's CKG Colour Challenge

It's FFF Challenge time again at TGF!

This time TGF have given us a colour challenge using three colours from SU's colour palette, Chocolate Chip, Kraft and Groovy Guava. Unfortunately due the fact that the Groovy Guava was a In-Colour from 2007/2008 I no longer have any left so I replaced it with Cameo Coral instead.

I used TGF's Dressy Ebony and coloured her using my Copic and SU markers, I then used the sentiment from my new SU 'Whimsical Words' set and layered that on some Kraft, Cameo Coral and Whisper White card stock cut using my nestabilities. The layers underneath are made from some of the same colour stock plus some SU Designer Series papers. The card is finished with some crystal diamante, chocolate ribbon and a couple of buttons.

Apart from the fact that I could not make this using the colour Groovy Guava, I am still happy with the outcome.

CHA Relay Contest Day 3 - Toby

Baby Tabitha

Introducing Toby's twin sister Tabitha

Isn't she adorable!

I have coloured her using a mix of copics and SU markers and I especially loved being able to use this gorgeous paper. I have added some extra detail by embossing over some of Tabitha's features and the butterfly with Sakura Glaze pens. The card has then been finished off with the Kaisercraft ribbon and pink dew drops.

CHA Relay Contest Day 2 - Charlotte

YOU GO GIRL!!

Charlotte is gorgeous and she knows it!

I have coloured her using a mix of copics and SU markers, I had fun choosing this mix of colours and matching her headband to the papers. I added a wee bit of SU sparkle to her tiny shoes and belt and finished off her scarf with a pink diamonte.

The card is finished with an SU sentiment which I have distressed, chocolate chip ribbon and SU felt flowers.

CHA Relay Contest Day 1 - Mer-Man Ian

Mer-Man Ian

What Mermaid could ignore him?

This is the card I made for Day One of the Challenge, (already over but felt he deserved to go here too!).

He is coloured with copics on a layered sea floor scene. The background is lightly chalked in a sea blue. I have used a mix of pixie pink and teal blue papers and have finished it off with some faux pearls.
